In an interview on the SEC website, Frank Haith talked about how his team will be different in his second year at Missouri.
“We’re a little bit bigger, we obviously got a little bit more depth,” Haith said. Missouri gets Laurence Bowers back and will have 12 active scholarship players compared to just seven in 2011-12. Haith added that his team got a “Christmas present” in the form of center Alex Oriakhi transferring from Connecticut (and being eligible to play immediately).
Haith said he plans to fit the team’s style of play in year two to the new personnel. Ultimately, his biggest concern is the chemistry of the team and how well all the new parts will fit into place.
“That will determine how good this team will be,” he said.
