Former Missouri basketball players Marcus Denmon and Kim English were invited to the NBA Draft combine, which takes place June 7 and 8 in Chicago. Both players were crucial parts of the Tigers’ Big 12 championship team last season.
The combine is the premier event for players hoping to be chosen in the NBA Draft on June 28. Players who are not invited to the combine typically do not get drafted.
The full list of players that were invited to Chicago can be found here.
Ricardo Ratliffe was not invited, despite attending the Portsmouth Invitational with English in April. English was named to the all-tournament team at that event.
Denmon did not attend the Portsmouth Invitational. He said after the team banquet last month that he didn’t attend because he was expecting an invitation to Chicago.
