The Tulsa World‘s John E. Hoover, a University of Oklahoma football beat reporter, tweeted on Monday morning that a source told him Dorial Green-Beckham will pick Missouri.
Green-Beckham, a wide receiver from Hillcrest (Springfield) High considered the top recruit in the nation by Rivals.com, took his official visit to Missouri this weekend. Besides Oklahoma, he is also considering Alabama, Arkansas and Texas.
In another tweet, Hoover called his source “extremely good.” He did not name the source, though. Green-Beckham will sign a letter of intent Wednesday.
CBSSports.com’s Dennis Dodd has since reported that John Beckham, Green-Beckham’s high school football coach and adoptive father, denies the Tulsa World report.
