Oklahoma president David L. Boren talks realignment

Oklahoma’s president spoke today about realignment to The Oklahoman’s Travis Haney. The gist? That OU has been contacted by other conferences, and they are keeping their options open. Also, they won’t be waiting long to make decisions. Boren gave a time frame of up to three weeks to make a decision, saying that the decision was “consuming his life.”

I wrote in my column earlier this week that Oklahoma and Oklahoma State were likely to be first in line to be contacted by Larry Scott and the Pac-12. Boren’s statement does nothing to refute that. Stay tuned for more.
